In the enterprise
The hexagram of steady growth, career development and organic expansion: organic growth strategy, succession pipelines, staged goals, personal career planning. 'Heaping up small things': compound growth—every step must be solid.
Psychological lens
Resonates with goal-setting theory (Locke & Latham) and progressive overload; 'pushing upward in darkness' describes the burnout and meaning-loss of endless striving.
